THE BOOK OF REVELATION

CHAPTER EIGHT

Revised Standard Version
(Unless Otherwise Indicated)

Verse 1: "When the Lamb opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour."

A "half an hour" refers to a short period of time. This takes place after New York City—the City of the Covenant (that was broken by the Arch Covenant-breakers), and the seat of the "beast" (Rev. 16:10 KJV), which is the United Nations building—is destroyed by a nuclear bomb by Iraq, in revenge for the terrible war against Iraq, and the assassination of Saddam Hussein. The United States will retaliate by using nuclear bombs on Iraq. Right after New York is bombed, the Lamb will make his world-wide Proclamation which is the opening of the seventh seal. At that time 144,000 Covenant-breaking "Baha'is" will see the truth of the matter and come under the Provisions of the Covenant and the Lamb; and perhaps twice that many from the world-wide population. At the same time the entire world will come against the Baha'i faith and the Lamb.

This is the start of the four winds of destruction, and a half an hour is but just a short period of time between the finishing of this book and the start of the great destruction.

The Onslaught of All Peoples and Kindreds

"How great, how very great is the Cause! How fierce the onslaught of all the peoples and kindreds of the earth. Ere long shall the clamor of the multitudes throughout Africa, throughout America, the cry of the European and of the Turk, the groaning of India and China be heard from far and near. One and all, they shall arise with all their power to resist His Cause. Then shall the knights of the Lord, assisted by His grace from on high, strengthened by faith, aided by the power of understanding, and reinforced by the legions of the Covenant, arise and make manifest the truth of the verse: 'Behold the confusion that hath befallen the tribes of the defeated!'" ('Abdu'l-Baha, World Order of Baha'u'llah, by Shoghi Effendi, p. 17).

The Knights of the Lord are Dr. Leland Jensen (a Knight of Baha'u'llah, who was knighted by Shoghi Effendi) and those that now follow him—for they are the Legions of the Covenant that are his Knights. They, and the 144,000, shall become victorious over all the peoples of the world.

Verse 2: "Then I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and seven trumpets were given to them."

This refers to the seven things that are about to happen.

An angel is a person who has acquired angelic qualities. It may be a person who exists on the physical plane or someone who is separated from the physical body. Of these "seven angels" the first four are the angels who hold back the four winds of destruction at the River of Euphrates (Baghdad). The fifth angel refers to Ali, the sixth angel refers to Quddus, and the seventh angel is the Lamb—Dr. Leland Jensen.

Verse 3: "And another angel came and stood at the altar with a golden censer; and he was given much incense to mingle with the prayers of all the saints upon the golden altar before the throne;"

Gold represents the Divine, which is from God. The "golden altar" is Shoghi Effendi. The angel "with a golden censer" is the seventh angel who is the return of Jesus the Lamb who is from God. The Golden censer means the Divine Censer which holds the incense; and the Golden Altar is the Divine Altar (Shoghi Effendi) on which the Baha'i faith is administrated. The Baha'i world could not differentiate a handful of gold from a handful of feces. They are both yellow, so they went with the feces, which is the violation of Ruhiyyih Khanum and the "Hands." What the "Hands" gave the Baha'is, in the place of what God gave us, is nothing but a bunch of bull feces. I use the French word "feces" here in place of the Anglo-Saxon word that begins with "s" and ends with "t," as it is considered more polite.[1] The "throne" is the Davidic throne that was to exist forever which the Covenant-breaking "Hands" threw out.[2] The "incense" is the explanations and commentaries of the Lamb that mingle with the prayers of all the saints who are firm in the Covenant, that follow the Lamb wherever he goes (Rev. 14:4). As the advent of the appearance of the Lamb fulfills prophecy, it is required by all to be guided by his explanations and commentaries. For those that are in opposition, their abode is Hell and damnation.

This golden altar comes before the Holy of Holies in the sanctuary. It is symbolic of sacrifice, except animals were not sacrificed here, but incense is offered. The line of the iron rod is this line of sacrifice—sacrifice of Jesus, Muhammad, the Bab and Shoghi Effendi. This golden altar is symbolic of Shoghi Effendi, the one who comes to set up the administration.

In the temple are 3 boxes or altars. The first lies in the courtyard (outside the temple) and is symbolic of Muhammad. The next is the Great Step, symbolic of the Bab. The next is the golden altar of incense; and the final one is the Ark of the Covenant itself. This is the Universal House of Justice. Incense was used in the past—when a large number of people were assembled into a large building without adequate ventilation—due to the fact that the people seldom took baths. The stench was so putrid that it was almost unbearable, so they used incense to smother, or quench, the bad odors. How this applies to the world today is all the damnable corruption, in Christianity and in the Baha'i faith, that stinks to high heaven. The "incense" here means the explanations and commentaries of the Lamb. The corruptions of Christianity are many—it is the confusion of Christianity—as it has split up into 22,000 sects and denominations each claiming that they are right and the others wrong; thus, they testify against themselves. In the Baha'i faith, the Arch Covenant-breakers have led the five to eight million Baha'is astray. The damage is they threw out of the administration one of the two integral parts of Baha'u'llah's Universal House of Justice, the Executive Branch (W&T, p. 15), which includes Baha'u'llah's descendants, the Davidic lineage including the throne of David, that is to last forever. Baha'u'llah said on page 89 of His proclamation that He "the Ancient Beauty ruleth upon the throne of David." Baha'u'llah was a direct male sperm line descendant of King David seated on the throne of David. He continued this lineage in His Covenant. This is the lineage that the wicked Covenant-breakers threw out. They will burn eternally in Hell for that, unless they repent and come under the Provisions of Baha'u'llah's Covenant, and the Will and Testament of 'Abdu'l-Baha.

Verse 4: "and the smoke of the incense rose with the prayers of the saints from the hand of the angel before God."

Saints are praying that the Old World Order will be rolled up and a whole New One will be rolled out in its place.

The incense, which is the explanations and commentaries of the Lamb, rose from the hand of the angel before God, who is the seventh angel and who is the return of the Lamb. The seventh angel is explained by 'Abdu'l-Baha in Some Answered Questions, page 66. He explained that this seventh angel would establish the true Baha'i faith in the world. The prayers of the saints are those holy ones that remained firm in the Covenant of Baha'u'llah.

Verse 5: "Then the angel took the censer and filled it with fire from the altar and threw it on the earth; and there were peals of thunder, voices, flashes of lightning, and an earthquake."

This angel starts this process symbolized by taking fire from the altar and throwing it on the earth. The "peals of thunder" is the clergies pounding an their altars against Baha'u'llah and the angels. There will be voices raised both for and against the Revelation of Baha'u'llah and His World Order. The "loud noises" are the explosions of the nuclear bombs, the "flashing of lightning" is the missiles lighting up the sky which is the nuclear war, and "the great earthquake"—like the world had never witnessed before—will take place after the nuclear war.

This vision of the Altar (verses 3, 4 and 5) has another explanation as well, written by the Lamb. This is along the lines of what 'Abdu'l-Baha said, that "There are many meanings in each word of the Apocalypse."[3] And Baha'u'llah said, "Thus it is recorded: "Every knowledge hath seventy meanings, of which one only is known amongst the people." And again, "He also saith: "We speak one word, and by it we intend one and seventy meanings; each one of these meanings we can explain."[4]

Verse 3: "And another angel came and stood at the altar with a golden censer; and he was given much incense to mingle with the prayers of all the saints upon the golden altar before the throne;"

The "Altar" here is the Lamb that has the explanations, which is the incense. The Golden Censer is the capacity to comprehend the Lamb's explanations. He was given much incense, which are many explanations of the Lamb.

Verse 4: "and the smoke of the incense rose with the prayers of the saints from the hand of the angel before God."

This angel is the angel that received much incense, or many explanations of the Lamb. This angel is one of the apostles of the Lamb.[5]

Verse 5: "Then the angel took the censer and filled it with fire from the altar and threw it on the earth; and there were peals of thunder, loud noises, flashes of lightning, and an earthquake."

The fire from the altar is the many prophecies in the scriptures prophesying the oncoming nuclear war that is explained by the Lamb.

This is the start of the Nuclear War that will destroy a third of mankind in one hour (Rev. 18:10). The "peals of thunder" is the exploding nuclear bombs, and the "flashes of lightning" is the nuclear missiles streaking through the night air. This will be followed by the great earthquake, which is a succeeding wind of destruction.

Verse 6: "Now the seven angels who had the seven trumpets made ready to blow them."

The following events that take place are not in sequence.

Verse 7: "The first angel blew his trumpet, and there followed hail and fire, mixed with blood, which fell on the earth; and a third of the earth was burnt up, and a third of the trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up."

This is the nuclear war that is about to take place now. This war will be fought primarily between Europe and America and Iran, Iraq and Saudi Arabia, which is about a third of the planet. The white race will come almost to an end. They will be an oddity, to the rest of the peoples.

The first angel is the angel that received much incense, or explanations of the Lamb. When he blew his trumpet, he broadcast these explanations of the Lamb to the world. This was followed by a hail of fire (the nuclear war). This war will be fought between the white race primarily, which is between Europe and America that comprises a third of the earth. "and a third of the earth was burnt up, a third of the trees were burnt up and all green grass of a third of the earth will be burnt up." Only about a tenth of the white race will be left. Not enough to make a difference in world affairs.

The exchange of nuclear missiles is symbolized by "hail and fire, mixed with blood, which fell on the earth." When this exchange of missiles takes place, one third of the world's population will be destroyed. Those countries primarily involved will be Russia, the United States and Europe. Only one sixth of Russia's population will remain.

Verse 8: "The second angel blew his trumpet, and something like a great mountain, burning with fire, was thrown into the sea:"

This mountain is a burning meteor, the size of a great mountain, maybe a mile wide, that Baha'u'llah prophesied in the Holy Mariner that would drive the Covenant-breakers off of Mt. Carmel. This meteor will heat up when it enters the atmosphere. Because it becomes white hot, it will heat up the entire sea, boiling the water. It will cause tidal waves maybe a mile high, that will cause buildings on coastal areas to be washed away.

Also, this is the nuclear missiles hitting submarines in the sea. That is, both Russia and the United States will knock out each other's submarines with nuclear bombs.

Verse 9: "and a third of the sea became blood, a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed."

As this war will be fought over a third of the earth, and also a third of the sea, therefore a third of the living creatures in the sea will be destroyed by these nuclear bombs.

Verse 10: "The third angel blew his trumpet, and a great star fell from heaven, blazing like a torch, and it fell on a third of the rivers and on the fountains of water."

The "fountains of the waters" is the mountains where the rivers get their water.

Verse 11: "The name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the waters became wormwood, and many men died of the water, because it was made bitter."

The "great star" which fell from heaven refers to the radioactive fallout that comes from the nuclear missiles.

"the rivers" and "fountains of water" symbolize the inland waters and the snow cap mountains and rivers which provide drinking water to the populated areas.

"wormwood" is a poisonous substance and symbolizes the radioactive fallout. This fallout will contaminate the waters, and whoever drinks the water will get very sick or die from radiation.

In the nuclear war both Russian and US bombs will be involved.

The Russian name for wormwood is the same for nuclear substance. This became clear when one of their nuclear power plants had a burndown.[6]

Verse 12: "The fourth angel blew his trumpet, and a third of the sun was struck, and a third of the moon and a third of the stars, so that a third of their light was darkened; a third of the day was kept from shining, and likewise a third of the night."

In the nuclear war that is about to happen, when these nuclear bombs explode they will cause so much debris to be caught up into the air—in a third part of the earth—that the shining of the sun, moon and stars will not be seen, either in the day or night.

When the bombs fall upon the earth, they will cause a cloud of great amounts of material matter to be thrown into the atmosphere. This is what is referred to as the mushroom, that at the epicenter will suck up thousands of tons of material matter, a cloud that follows the explosion of the bombs. These clouds will cause the sun, moon and stars to be obscured from view over the third part of earth where the nuclear war is concentrated, that is Europe and the United States.

Verse 13: "Then I looked, and I heard an eagle crying with a loud voice, as it flew in mid heaven, 'Woe, woe, woe to those who dwell on the earth, at the blasts of the other trumpets which the three angels are about to blow!'"

The Eagle pertains to the United States, as its symbol is the flying eagle. "Mid heaven" is between the earth and outer space, that is, in the atmosphere. It is in the United States (in Montana) that the return of Jesus is found, and he is telling the world that this nuclear war is just one phase of the great catastrophe, that there are three woes to come, meaning that the nuclear war will be the first wave of destruction—as there are three woes yet to come. The first of these 3 woes yet to come after the nuclear war is a meteor the size of a great mountain that will hit the earth. This will cause such a jar to the earth that the world will suffer the greatest earthquake as was never experienced before—probably twelve on the Richter scale. And if it hits in the sea it will cause great tidal waves, maybe a mile high, that will wash away many people. It will probably hit in or near the Mediterranean Sea and wash the Covenant-breakers off of Mt. Carmel. This was prophesied by Baha'u'llah in the Holy Mariner that a burning meteor will drive them out. Then the last of these woes is the Earth's Shifting Crust.

Also, Ezekiel tells us that the day of the Lord is the day of woe.

"Son of man, prophesy and say, Thus saith the Lord God; Howl ye, woe worth the day! For the day is near, even the day of the Lord is near, a cloudy day; it shall be the time of the heathen." (Ezekiel 30:2,3)

'Abdu'l-Baha, the son of Baha'u'llah and His appointed successor, quotes Ezekiel 30:2, 3; and from His explanation we understand that these three woes refer to the appearance of those three Manifestations Who appeared after Christ: Muhammad, The Bab and Baha'u'llah.

"Therefore it is certain that the day of woe is the day of the Lord; for in that day woe is for the neglectful, woe is for the sinners, woe is for the ignorant. That is why it is said, 'The second woe is past behold the third woe cometh quickly!' The third woe is the day of the Manifestation of Baha'u'llah, the day of God; and it is near to the day of the appearance of the Bab." (Some Answered Questions, page 66)

The "three angels" referred to in this verse are the establishers that arise from the Dispensation of each of the three Manifestations—Muhammad, the Bab and Baha'u'llah—to establish and promote the Revelation that They brought for mankind. These angels are men who have attained the angelic state.

The "trumpets" they blow are the explanations they give which establish that Revelation.

The fifth angel, who was the establisher of the Revelation that Muhammad gave, was Ali. The sixth angel was Quddus, the establisher of the Babi Revelation. The Revelation of Baha'u'llah will be established in the world by the seventh angel, Dr. Leland Jensen.

'Abdu'l-Baha describes this "seventh angel":

"The seventh angel is a man qualified with heavenly attributes, who will arise with heavenly qualities and character. Voices will be raised, so that the appearance of the Divine Manifestation will be proclaimed and diffused. In the day of the Manifestation of the Lord of Hosts, and at the epoch of the divine cycle of the Omnipotent which is promised and mentioned in all the books and writings of the Prophets—in that day of God, the Spiritual and Divine Kingdom will be established and the world will be renewed; a new spirit will be breathed into the body of creation, the season of the divine spring will come, the clouds of mercy will rain, the sun of reality will shine, the life-giving breeze will blow, the world of humanity will wear a new garment, the surface of the earth will be a sublime paradise; mankind will be educated, wars, disputes, quarrels, and malignity will disappear, and truthfulness, righteousness, honesty and the worship of God will appear; union, love, and brotherhood will surround the world, and God will rule for evermore: meaning that the Spiritual and Everlasting Kingdom will be established. Such is the day of God. For all the days which have come and gone were the days of Abraham, Moses and Christ, or of the other prophets; but this day is the day of God, for the Sun of Reality will arise in it with the utmost warmth and splendour." (Some Answered Questions, pages 66 and 67)

Here, 'Abdu'l-Baha is explaining that the seventh angel, which is the return of Jesus the Lamb, will raise up angels that will raise their voices so that the appearance of the Divine Manifestation of Baha'u'llah will be proclaimed and diffused, so that the Spiritual and Divine Kingdom will be established.
