CHAPTER NINE

The first eleven verses in this chapter refer to Islam.

Verse 1: "And the fifth angel blew his trumpet, and I saw a star fallen from heaven to earth and he was given the key of the shaft of the bottomless pit;"

THERE are four angels holding back the four winds of destruction making Ali "the fifth angel." Ali was the cousin and son-in-law of Muhammad and the one who Muhammad intended to be His successor. This was understood by all the friends and family of Muhammad. Muhammad on his death bed, who was surrounded by the faithful, called for his secretary to have a written appointment of Ali. However, due to the bickering in the tent, Muhammad died leaving no written document in which He appointed Ali to this position. Ali was then prevented from taking Muhammad's place as His successor by a man named Omar. Omar knew that it was Muhammad's intention to have Ali succeed Him but Omar desired this position for himself.

This "star fallen from heaven to earth" was Omar, originally one of the strongest of the believers of Muhammad. When Muhammad made his Proclamation it was to Omar, Abu Bakr and Ali. Omar drew out his sword and cried if anyone comes against Muhammad he would have to pass over him. However, when Muhammad was on his death bed, and his head was resting in the lap of his youngest wife, he was telling the believers that were with him in that room that they should turn to Ali as his successor; but there was a lot of buzzing going on among those there. They were sort of in opposition to have Ali succeed Muhammad. Ali wasn't present in that room at that time. He was out someplace taking care of some religious errand. Muhammad, seeing that they were in opposition to his choice of Ali, cried out telling them to get his secretary. He was going to have this Will written down. But the buzzing kept going on. Deciding what they should do, some said that he was delirious with a high fever and didn't know what he was saying—so at that time Muhammad died.

Omar, immediately following the death of Muhammad, ran out of the tent, which was surrounded by thousands of followers of Muhammad waiting to get news of Muhammad's condition—thousands of the faithful that were waiting to get some news—knowing that their beloved Muhammad was very sick. Omar raised his hands high and cried out that the beloved prophet had just passed on: "He has departed! He has left us!" Then a great cry went up from the multitude—a great wail went up from the crowd saying, "What will we do? What will we do?" Then Omar, once more, raised his hands high, saying, that we will elect a successor, crying out, "I nominate Abu Bakr to be Muhammad's successor!" Then another shout went up from the multitude, the crowd crying in one acclaim: "Abu Bakr! Abu Bakr!" Thus he was elected, and his first course of action was to start a war with the Roman and Persian Empire, even though the Koran forbids offensive war. Abu Bakr lived only a short time. When he died, Omar was elected to succeed him. When Ali returned from his mission and heard what had taken place, and that nothing now could be done to change it he had no other choice but to go along with it, as he didn't want to have a division. Thus the corruption of Islam took place on the death of Muhammad. Just like the corruption of Christianity took place in the days of the apostles, but not by the apostles, which I have already explained.

Omar immediately conquered the Persian Empire and most of the Roman Empire in the Middle East. After his death, Othman was elected successor. Othman ruled until 656 at which time he was assassinated. Ali was then elected in his place. However, the One Muhammmad had intended to be His successor was to rule only briefly. While Ali was making his journey from Mecca to Persia, where he had a strong following, he was attacked by the Bani-Umayyeds, headed by Mu'awia, and killed. In 661 AD Mu'awia set himself up as Caliph in place of Ali.

Omar was a man of great wisdom and knowledge of spiritual matters. This is why he is referred to here as a "star." "Heaven" refers to the Revelation of God, which was Revealed by Muhammad. Omar is the "star fallen from heaven to earth" because he ignored the will of the Manifestation of God and chose to do what was his own desire.[1] The result of this was that the Revelation of Muhammad was placed in the hands of those who cared not for truth or God's Will. The Islamic faith became corrupted and apostate.

In the great Pyramid of Gizeh, in the Grotto, is a red granite block. (See Figure 1) The Well Shaft takes over where the first ascending passageway ends leading down to the Grotto and the Red Granite Block. This Block marks the appearance and dispensation of Muhammad. The Grotto meets the descending passageway just above the bottomless pit. The descending passageway represents the way of the world. The Grotto is the last chance for the people to get into the ascending passageway, which is the way of God. When Omar ignored the wishes of Muhammad, this star fell from heaven to earth "and he was given the key of the shaft of the bottomless pit" meaning that these people fell to the ways of the world. (See Figures 2, 3, and 4)

The Bani Umayya were the enemies of Muhammad. When they were made to surrender to Muhammad they decided that they could not win, so they joined them, and then tried to take over Islam from the inside—so they made another kind of war. Mu'awia, the son of Abu Suffian, the Arch enemy of Islam, went down into Arabia and raised up a strong army of staunch supporters of Islam by telling them lies, like the Christian clergy from the beginning told lies after lies.

The "smoke" symbolizes the Bani Umayyed Clan. "the sun" is the Revelation of Muhammad. "the air" symbolizes the civil laws of these people. The sun and air "were darkened with the smoke" means that the Bani Umayyeds would distort and corrupt the true Revelation of Muhammad and alter the lives of that civilization. The bottomless pit is the pit of error. This army of Mu'awia, on its way up to Damascus, stopped off in Egypt and acquired chariots, for the Egyptian chariots were the finest made. When they got to Damascus they were not allowed to kill another Muslim as it was against the teachings of Muhammad. Verse 3: "Then from the smoke came locusts on the earth, and they were given power like the power of scorpions of the earth;" These "locusts" represent the army of Mu'awia. They had "the power of scorpions" meaning that just as a scorpion's sting can cause severe illness and possible death, so could the attacks that Mu'awia's army inflicted upon their victims. The locusts were these chariots. The scorpions' sting is in its tail. There were two men on these chariots. One of them drove the chariot, and the other sat backwards between the legs of the driver. He had a blow gun that shot darts. These darts were poison tipped, but it didn't kill. It only made them very sick, and they wished that they were dead.

Verse 4: "they were told not to harm the grass of the earth or any green growth or any tree, but only those of mankind who have not the seal of God upon their foreheads;"

According to the Law of Muhammad, Muslims were not allowed to have a "scorched earth policy."

Muhammad forbid a scorched earth policy in warfare. The "seal of God on their foreheads" means that they used their intellect to accept Islam. Muhammad said that they didn't have to believe, but they must be obedient to the Koran.

"those of mankind who have not the seal of God upon their foreheads" are the people who did not have the knowledge of Muhammad's Revelation. They didn't use their intellect to become converted to Islam. The forehead is the area of the brain that has the intellect.

Verse 5: "they were allowed to torture them for five months, but not to kill them, and their torture was like the torture of a scorpion, when it stings a man."

The people that Mu'awia's army attacked, were Muslims like themselves. Since the Law of Muhammad forbids one Muslim killing another, Mu'awia's army used poison arrows when they attacked. These poison arrows did not kill those whom they struck, but did cause them to have great pain and become terribly ill. This is why "their torture was like the torture of a scorpion."

The war between the Bani Umayyed's lasted five months, i.e. "they were allowed to torture them for five months."

When these chariots went through the streets of Damascus the people came out to witness what was going on. As the chariots passed by, many of the people were stung with these darts. The purpose of this was to have them turn against the leadership of Ali, and put the Bani Umayyeds at the head of Islam.

Verse 6: "And in those days men will seek death and will not find it; they will long to die, and death will fly from them."

The poison arrows that were used by Mu'awia's army left those struck so ill that death was indeed preferred over the terrible effects of the poison.

Verse 7: "In appearance the locusts were like horses arrayed for battle; on their heads were what looked like crowns of gold; their faces were like human faces,"

When the Bani Umayyeds attacked, they drove chariots, which they got from Egypt. The helmets that they wore "looked like crowns of gold." Also the crowns of gold refers to the golden halo of the intellect.

Their clean shaven faces is what is referred to as faces which "were like human faces."

The "crowns of gold" signify that they were spiritual, Muslim, but duped.

Verse 8: "their hair like women's hair, and their teeth like lions teeth;"

In that time the Roman's wore their hair short but the Arabs had long hair, "like women's hair."[2] The Arabs also filed their teeth in order to eat raw meat. With their long hair and clean-shaven faces, the Arabs, who were shorter than those of the Middle East, were thought to be women. Wherever the Bani Umayyeds went, people would turn out in large numbers to witness this spectacle of women driving chariots. This, of course, made it easier for the Arabs to attack.

Verse 9: "they had scales like iron breastplates, and the noise of their wings was like the noise of many chariots with horses rushing into battle."

Verse 10: "They have tails like scorpions, and stings, and their power of hurting men for five months lies in their tails."

When the Bani Umayyeds drove their chariots in the attacks, one man would stand to drive while another would sit backwards between his legs. The one sitting would use either a bow or a blowgun to shoot poison arrows at his victims as they lined up along the sides of the streets to watch the chariots that were driven by women.

Verse 11: "They have as king over them the angel of the bottomless pit; his name in Hebrew is Abad'don, and in Greek he is called Apol'lyon."

Mu'awia is the "angel of the bottomless pit." The king over them was Mu'awia, and in Hebrew he is Abad'don and in Greek he is Apol'lyon meaning the destroyer. Abad'don means destroyer. The name Mu'awia is Arabic and also means destroyer.

Verse 12: "The first woe has passed; behold, two woes are still to come."

This woe that "has passed" refers to the appearance of Muhammad and the dispensation that He Revealed.

The two woes which "are still to come" refer to the appearances of the Bab and Baha'u'llah, which are to follow one after the other.

Verse 13: "Then the sixth angel blew his trumpet, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar before God,"

"the sixth angel" is Quddus. He was the last of the Bab's disciples to recognize that the Bab was the fulfillment of the prophecies for the One promised to appear. It was exactly nineteen years—or Vahids—according to the Babi calendar[3], from the day Quddus became a believer until Baha'u'llah made His Proclamation (July 10, 1844 until April 21, 1863).

"Horns" in this sense is the symbol of Sovereignty. This originated with Nimrod who took the horns off of a bull and was sovereign over a flock of cows or people, and placed them on his own head, showing his sovereignty over his empire of many nations. The four horns here represents four nations, who today hold the veto power on the Security Council of the United Nations. They are the United States, England, France and Russia. President Roosevelt set up these four nations, along with China, to be the charter members of the United Nations, which would make these nations the first Baha'i nations. These four nations are to be the sacrifice to Establish peace in the world. This war will be fought primarily between these four nations, with all of their cities of one hundred thousand population or more being destroyed—a third of mankind will be killed.

"the four horns" represent the four world powers: England, Russia, France, and the United States.

Verse 14: "saying to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, 'Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates.'"

The "voice"—which is heard from the four world powers—is saying to "Release the four angels." These four angels are the same four angels who hold back the winds of destruction as described previously.

These four angels, who are over the four nations, have been holding back the nuclear war. They are bound at the great river Euphrates. The river Euphrates flows through Iraq, where the great city Babylon was located, and Nebuchadnezzar, who was seated on his throne there, destroyed the city of Jerusalem and brought the Davidic lineage—of Whom Baha'u'llah was descended from—to Babylon.

Again, the reference to the "great river Euphrates" symbolizes the Middle East. It flows through the country of Iraq.

This is also the place, in the city of Baghdad (that Baha'u'llah was exiled to), where He made His proclamation, and where the first believers in Baha'u'llah took place. Today, this is the place where the United States made an illegal war on Iraq—as the US was interfering in the internal affairs of a sovereign nation. They killed millions of innocent Iraqis, men, women, and children, and then had the United Nations to slap sanctions on these men, women, and children causing mass starvation, and suffering, and death, to nearly half of the babies, and other types of horrors. The American people allowed this to happen because they were fed all kinds of sick propaganda by the media, which is the mouthpiece of the Beast. The day of reckoning is fast approaching where the bread that the US cast on the waters will return to them seven fold. Nostradamus prophesied that Saddam would get his revenge for the evil that was cast upon them. This retaliation will be in the form of a nuclear strike on the United Nations building in New York City, "the Seat of the Beast" (Rev. 16:10, KJV), which will destroy the entire city of New York. This will start World War III (The Battle of Armageddon, Rev. 16:16).

Baghdad is where Baha'u'llah made His Proclamation, and is now the place of Saddam Hussein. This is where the four angels of destruction, that bring about the four winds of destruction, are located: signifying that this is where the nuclear war will begin. It will be the result of what America did to Iraq during the Gulf War, killing innocent men, women, and children, with their unwarranted attack on Baghdad. Saddam Hussein was taking back the 19th Province of Iraq from Kuwait that England, after the First World War, cut off from Iraq (its nineteenth Province) creating Kuwait, and put sheiks that England controlled in charge of their creation. What Saddam Hussein did was none of America's business. George Bush, who is an oil-man and has oil wells in Kuwait, in his greed, caused the Gulf War.

The problems, which will arise and bring about the first wind of destruction—nuclear war—will be over what America did to Iraq. When the United States assassinates Saddam Hussein, then Iraq will retaliate with bombing the UN building with a nuclear bomb. That is, the President of the United States has an assassination attempt in progress, by the code name "Jackhammer" to assassinate Saddam Hussein. This will be the death knell of New York City. The United States will respond by using nuclear weapons. This is the start of Armageddon.

Verse 15: "So the four angels were released, who had been ready for the hour, the day, the month, and the year, to kill a third of mankind."

That is, the hour, the day, the month and the year are already predetermined, and it will happen precisely according to God's time scale. Jesus said: "But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only" (Matt. 24:36). Therefore the Son on his return won't know the day or the hour, as it says that the Son won't know, but the Father, Baha'u'llah only. I don't know of any place where Baha'u'llah revealed the day and the hour for to kill a third of mankind. However, the month and the year is knowable. This will happen right after Saddam Hussein is assassinated. This will take place right after the Iraqis nuke New York, in retaliation of the US and the UN assassination of their beloved President. What would happen if the Iraqis should happen to assassinate the President of the United States? You can be sure that the United States would retaliate severely.

Specifically, "the hour" is the amount of time that the thermonuclear war will last. It will take about twenty-five minutes for the nuclear missiles to leave their silos in Russia to fly over the North Pole and hit their targets in the United States. And it will take twenty-five minutes for missiles in this country to go over the North Pole and hit its targets in Russia. Also the countries of NATO are allies of the United States, so all of Europe will be bombed.

"the day" refers to the Day of Judgement, when the seventh angel indicts the world for breaking the "everlasting covenant".

"the year" is the year that Saddam Hussein is assassinated.

Verse 16: "The number of the troops of cavalry was twice ten thousand times ten thousand; I heard their number."

"The number of the troops" represent the kilotonage, or thousand tons of TNT, of the bombs that will be fired between the four world powers.

As this will be a nuclear war there will not be very many people engaged in fighting in this war. The head of Russia will press the button, and then the President of the United States will retaliate, and he will press the button—and that will be just about it. Therefore, this applies to the megatonage, or the amount of nuclear energy that will be unleashed in the nuclear war.

Verse 17: "And this was how I saw the horses in my vision: the riders wore breastplates the color of fire and of sapphire (hyacinth) [in the King James translation it isn't sapphire at all but the "jacinth" which is the "hyacinth" and is the color of brownish, reddish or orange zircon (golden)] and of sulfur [These colors are the colors of the explosion of a nuclear bomb] and the heads of the horses were like lions heads [warheads], and fire and smoke and sulphur issued from their mouths."

Verse 18: "By these three plagues a third of mankind was killed, by the fire and smoke and sulphur issuing from their mouths."

A third of mankind will be killed by these three things: fire, and smoke, and sulfur. A third of mankind is killed. There are three things with which a nuclear bomb kills. The first is the radiation of the bomb. If you get 1000 RADs of radiation you will die instantly, as it will destroy your nervous system. That is the first thing that comes from the explosion. The next thing that comes to you is the heat that also will kill you immediately. And the third thing that kills you is the percussion.

Verse 19: "For the power of the horses is in their mouths and in their tails; their tails are like serpents, with heads, and by means of them they wound."

These are not horses at all. They look more like a snake, that propels itself with his tail, and it wounds by the snake's head that is deadly. This is what John sees in his vision: a nuclear missile that is propelled by its tail and the head ("by means of them they wound") is a nuclear bomb—the warhead.

"the horses" represent the ballistic missiles with their thermonuclear warhead.

"the riders" are the nuclear warheads themselves.

Their "breastplates" represent the results that will come from the explosions of the missiles. Their colors are the colors of the mushroom clouds and represent the radiation, heat, and percussion of the explosions. These are the "three plaques" by which "a third of mankind was killed." Death from any one of these three things is instantaneous.

The "horses" are likened to a serpent in that by its tail a serpent propels itself, and with its head it wounds. The missiles are propelled by their tail and the warheads are the heads which "wound."

Verse 20: "The rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plaques, did not repent of the works of their hands nor give up worshipping demons and idols of gold and silver and bronze and stone and wood, which can not either see or hear or walk;"

As you already know, the nuclear war will be fought only in a third part of the earth: Europe and America, and maybe Iran. The people in Mexico, and Central and South America, are for the most part Roman Catholics. As these people will be spared in the nuclear war, their clergy will tell them because of their Icons (idols) they were saved from this great destruction and the people will take a much stronger belief in their idols. This is also true in Asia and Africa. In Asia the 800 million Hindus, Episcopalians, and Buddhists, are also idol worshippers. In India and in China the same thing exists. They all worshipped Idols; and they pray to these Idols. They will all believe that their idols saved them.

Verse 21: "nor did they repent of their murders or their sorceries or their immorality or their thefts."

In the parts of the world that are not involved in the nuclear war directly such as China, India, and Africa, the people will continue living as they are. Their belief in their false religions will be intensified, and their interest in idols renewed. The priests or clergy will quickly point out to them the devastation of the Christians who believed that Jesus was God. "If He were God," they will ask, "why didn't He save them?" They will believe that their idols are true gods, and that is the reason they were saved. This is why the other three winds of destruction are necessary.

Therefore, they go on as they did before, not realizing that there will be three more waves of destruction coming. A meteor hitting the earth, a great earthquake, and the Earth's Shifting Crust. Those that crawl out of the pit, the nuclear war, will be caught in the snare, the meteor hitting the earth.
